Venice
Venice is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and is only 45 km from Jesolo. It is very easy to reach thanks to the frequent bus connections with the mainland ending at Piazzale Roma (Venice's car terminal and bus terminus), or via Punta Sabbioni, where the bus stops and you have to continue with the motorboat: this suggestive navigation allows you to get right to St. Mark's Square after an unforgettable crossing of the lagoon.
So, in less than an hour you can arrive in the heart of the city! Those who prefer driving their own car can park in Venice city parks, just after the Liberty Bridge crossing the lagoon, at the Tronchetto park, and reach the centre on foot or by vaporetto, a boat which the usual Venetian means of transportation. Discovering Venice: in addition to the classic and compelling destinations such as St. Mark's and the Doge's Palace, Rialto Bridge and the Accademia Gallery, it is nice to have a stroll through the calli (narrow streets) and picturesque campielli (small squares), shopping in craft shops and designer boutiques. Do stop for a cicheto (local appetizer) and an ombreta(glass of popular, much appreciated wine) in one of the many wine bars and take a ride in a gondola, a traditional and ancient Venetian craft.
